Norlan Gene Sites

Norlan Gene Sites, 81, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017. He was born on February 29, 1936 in Dalton, Arkansas to George William Sites and Julia Philisa Barker. He could be described as a man’s man, a loyal friend and most importantly a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. Gene enjoyed spending time with his family, taking his children and grandchildren boating and fishing, working on cars, gardening, bird watching and watching NASCAR. He was a member of NHRA, Crosby Baptist Church, Maritime Associations and GCCA. Gene's hobbies were drag racing, building cars, hunting and fishing. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; two sisters; two daughters, Stephanie Krieger and Sherri Scotti; and two grandsons Derek Blackard and Jordan Scotti.

Gene is survived by his wife Donna Sites; three daughters, Christine Richnow, Sandra Sites and Suzanne McDaniel (Steve McDaniel),; three sons, Steven Sites, Craig Sites (Anna Sites) and Shawn Sites (Pam Sites); thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 24, 2017 also at Sterling White Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sterling White Cemetery.
