Tribute

Cheryl Sue Zarsky age 73 went to be with the Lord Tuesday August 4, 2020. Cheryl was born in Houston, Texas March 30, 1947 the daughter of the late Melvin White and Ora Johnson-White. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding horses, dancing, cook offs, or just, “Shootin’ the Bull” with her friends. She worked as a legal secretary over thirty years. Her career highlights included involvement in the Watergate Scandal and working for Attorney: Leon Jaworski. Cheryl, graduated from C.E. King High School class of 1965 and participated as a Majorette.  She was past member of the Eagles Lodge on Market St. since 1975, lifetime member of Saltgrass Trail Riders Association, and member of the Houmant Park Baptist Church since the age of ten. Cheryl, raised her children in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and has been associated with the Catholic parish for over forty-five years. Also her late husband Albert F. Zarsky made their home in Crosby, TX for thirty five years. Where they made dear friends, loved life, and made every day count. Cheryl, was a generous lady with an open heart full of love and passion for her family and dear friends, she was always willing to help others. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Albert F. Zarsky, and her aunt and uncle W.G. and Annie Mae Key. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Wesley Gene “W.G.” Zarsky (Michelle), daughter Cherié Suzanne Zarsky, and her grandchildren Weston and Gavin Zarsky. In addition she leaves numerous Walcott cousins. 

Funeral Services will be held 2PM Saturday August 15, 2020 at Sterling White Funeral, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd Highlands, Texas. Visitation will be held from 12-2PM Saturday at the funeral home with internment to follow in Sterling White Cemetery. Happy Trails Party for her life to celebrate among Family and Friend to follow.
