Dana Rochelle Jackson Miller was born on July 6, 1966 to Thomas and Barbara Jackson in Durham, North Carolina, but she was 100% Texan. She passed away on April 22, 2024 surrounded by the love of her family after battling cancer for 4 years.
Dana had a magnetic personality and loved people fiercely. She devoted 14 years of her life as a nurse tech and later, unit secretary at Mainland Medical Center and Pearland Medical Center. In both her personal and professional life, she made deep and memorable connections with everyone around her.
She loved living life to the fullest with her family and was the proudest mom to her three children. Some of her favorite activities included indulging in ‘beach therapy’ with her rockstar drummer, trying out new restaurants and recipes, and fishing. Music was a big part of her life and she was an incredible singer.
Dana was preceded in death by her brother Jason Jackson. She is survived by her three children: Lauren, Hunter and Colton; her husband Stephen, her parents Thomas and Barbara Jackson, and her brother and sister-in-law Justin and Jenny Jackson, her nephews, nieces, and many friends and family who will miss her immensely.
