David Henry Walts

David Henry Walts was welcomed into Heaven on January 3, 2021, at Memorial Herman Hospital in Humble, Texas. He was the loving Husband of Dorothy Ann (Zycha) Walts. David was born, baptized in Ben Hur, Texas, and confirmed at Saint Leo the Great Church in Houston, Texas.

Married to Dorothy Zycha at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crosby, Texas on June 29th 1974, and Spent 50 wonderful years of marriage with his wife Dottie. David was a loving person and his passion in life was caring for his wife Dottie and his extended family and animals. David loved hunting, fishing and playing his guitar. David was also known for his sense of humor and always had a smile for everyone. David enjoyed life and the get togethers with friends and relatives. He personally like to tell jokes to make people laugh and smile.

He was preceded in death by his parents, father Henry Walts and mother Bertha Walts. David was survived by his wife Dorothy Walts; his brother Jim Walts, his sister Janelle Morgan. He was also survived by a large Zycha family and will certainly be missed by his many in-laws, nieces and nephews, who he shared many good times.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, beginning at 10 am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 915 Runneburg Rd, Crosby, Texas 77532. A rosary will follow at 10:30 am. A funeral mass will be held at 11 am with a burial immediately following in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Gulf Pump Road (1942), Barrett, Texas 77532
