Donald Nathan Burgess

Donald Nathan Burgess- age 69 passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 in Baytown. Donald was born February 18, 1950 in Trinity, Texas. He worked for numerous years in Information Technologies for Computer Science Corp. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt, fish, and go camping. He was a good father, who was wise, and had a unique sense of humor. He was easy going and could always find the “funny” in any situation. Don also enjoyed reading, his go to was science fiction and westerns. Donald served in the US Air Force from 1972-1975 where his specialty was in satellite communications. He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Jordan and a brother Leon Burgess. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of thirty years Connie Burgess of Crosby, sons Joshua McKethan and wife Tara of Crosby and Michael Pickering, daughter Paula Thompson of Colbert, Washington, a sister Linda Musick husband Keith of Atascosita, brothers Mike Taylor and wife Jaqui of Huffman and Eddie Taylor and wife Paula of North Shore. In addition, he leaves two brother-in-laws Tracy Chowns and wife Darlene and Stacy Chowns and wife Dorinda. He also leaves his four grandchildren Marley McKethan, Rylie Thompson, Javid Thompson, and Austin Thompson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 10:30AM Monday July 15, 2019 at Sterling White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, Texas 77562. Visitation will be held Monday 9AM to 10:30AM.
