Dorothy Jean (Notgrass) Hudson

Dorothy Jean Hudson 67 passed away Wednesday January 9, 2019 at her home in Baytown, Texas. Dorothy was born in Ranger, Texas August 18, 1951 the daughter of the late Billy Gene Notgrass and Dorothy Jeanette Sanford Notgrass. Dorothy enjoyed singing, dancing, and spending time with her family. She was loving, caring, and kind. She will be remembered for her nonjudgmental ways and her unconditional love. Dorothy worked for over twenty-five years at United DC in Houston in numerous positions. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her three brothers Billy Michael Notgrass, James Valson Notgrass, and Danny Paul Notgrass, and her late husband James Tirey Hudson. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son James Tirey Hudson Jr. of Baytown, daughter Angela Jean Hudson of Baytown, sisters Carolyn Humphrey of Crosby and Linda Nickens of Cleveland. In addition, she leaves her beloved granddaughter Kirey Jade Meadows, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. Cremation services have been entrusted to Sterling White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, Texas.
