E C Prickett Sr

EC Prickett, Sr., age 68, of West, Texas passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 in Waco. Funeral services will be 10:00a.m. Saturday, December 8, at Sterling-White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd., Highlands, TX 77562.

EC was born August 3, 1950 in Corsicana. He married the love of his life, Shirley White in 1969.  Shortly thereafter, they added 3 sons to complete their family.  He enjoyed Nascar, all sports, playing golf and fishing but most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a very kind and helpful person who was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

EC is survived by his wife, Shirley Prickett; sons and daughters, EC Prickett, Jr., (Sherry), Chris Prickett, (Kim), James “Matt” Prickett, (Alyshia); 18 grandchildren,  and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Emmett O’Neal Prickett; mother, Loney Mary Elizabeth Moore-Prickett Galloway; brothers, Cecil, Calvin and JL Prickett; sisters, Allie Burttent and Helen Bell.

EC is survived by brothers, Walter, Emmett, Leslie Prickett; sisters, Joyce Parmer, Billie Johnson, Barbara Luttrell; and many nieces and nephews.

EC was blessed to be taken in at an early age in life by another loving family, which was also his older brother, Cecil and wife Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Cecil O’Neal Prickett; mom, Virginia Wyatt Prickett; brother, Lee Prickett; and sister, Linda Bowers.

EC is survived by his brother, David Prickett; sisters Carolyn Smith, Kathy Mass, Beth Phillips, and Kittie Blackmon and many nieces and nephews.
