Eddie Ray Glass

On Saturday, May 9th, 2020, Eddie Ray Glass, loving husband and father of one, passed away at the age of 77 after a valiant and long battle with cancer. Eddie was born on October 7th, 1942 in Boonesville, TX to Lucian Glass and Loretta (Wood) Boatwright. On April 3rd, 1976, he married Barbara Carol Moore. They renewed their vows on February 28th, 2010.  They raised one daughter, Marisa Rae (Glass) Bailey, who married Richard Aaron Bailey. He delighted in his four grandchildren, Trey, Rayna, Faith, and Caleb. 

He served his beloved country in the United States Air Force from 1964 until 1981. He joined his father in the family business at Hou-Fab & Maintenance, Inc. and served the Greater Houston Area for 40 years. Eddie loved his family, his country and his work. He was an avid hunter. He was a frequent visitor to Tanzania, where he loved to sit in a local village or go on Safari across the vast savannas. He was known for his quiet demeanor and his generous spirit. He is beloved and will be greatly missed.

Eddie is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Marisa, son-in-law Aaron, grandchildren Trey, Rayna, Faith, and Caleb, two brothers and one sister.
