Jacelyn Gossett McDowell

Jacelyn Gossett McDowell age 58, went to be with the Lord on Saturday August 18, 2018. She was born in Los Angeles, California on December 14, 1959. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and cooking, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She was a very loving, happy, outgoing person who lived life to the fullest, always helping anyone in need if she could and will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ernestine Urteaga Gossett and Harold Wesley Gossett; her son, Mark Andrew Gossett and her brothers, Wallace Escobedo and George Escobedo. 

 Jacelyn is survived by her daughter RaeAnnan Jacobs (and husband, Mike) and son Wesley Thompson; her companion, John Hearn Sr.; her sisters, Teresa Gossett  Spenrath (and wife, Cynthia Jayne Spenrath) and Diana Rose Bourque (and significant other, Marla Cuevas); her grandchildren, Skylar, Montana, Ariana, Ryane, Samantha, Deuce, Rosemary, Logan, and RaeAunna.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Saturday morning August 25, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by services in Sterling White Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private.
