Jack D Reno

Jack Dale Reno, age 87, joined his Savior Jesus in eternal rest on Tuesday June 12, 2018. He was born in Phillips, Texas on March 28, 1931 to Goldia Evans Reno and Herman Oscar Reno. He retired from Phillips Petroleum Company with 35 years of service as a supervisor and assistant fire chief.  He enjoyed baseball, fishing, golf and traveling. But most of all spending time with his family, most especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a humble, forgiving and compassionate man who was always prepared to listen, in all situations, leaving a legacy of faith, family, humility and mercy. He will be loved and missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Donald and Wayne Reno.

Jack is survived by his beloved wife after 68 years of sacred marriage, Patricia Ann Reno; his sisters and brother-in-laws – Patricia & Bob Trantham; and Carol & Bob Murphy;  his daughters and son-in-laws –  Denise & Clifford McCammon,  Linda & Don Nimmons,  Phyllis & Stephen McCanless; his grandchildren – Leeann and Angela McCammon,  Ross McCammon & Christina McCoy, and Melanie Webb; Alicia & Kris Nelson, Brian & Christy Williams, Jon-Paul & Lauren Nimmons, and Rebekah Nimmons; Lance & Aimee Shelton, Joshua & Lorena Shelton, Breanna Kenney & Kenny Rife, Hilery & Joshua Boudreaux; and his 20 great-grandchildren – Christoffer, Caitlynn, Hannah, Anthony, Justice, Joseph, Amilia, Embry, Tyler, Taylor, Brooklin, Cade, Madden, KayLee, Presley, Andrew, Louis, Vince, Kendall, and Landon; and many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Crosby Church of Christ, 3737 US-90, Crosby, TX 77532 on June 30, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment will be private.
