Jesus Romero, Sr.

Jesus Romero Sr. age 69, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 9, 2018. He was born in Guanajuato, Mexico on October 18, 1948 to Andrea Escalera Romero and Baldomero Romero. He enjoyed carpentry and traveling back to and visiting his old homeplace, but most of all spending time with his family. He was a very hard working person, could carry on a conversation with anyone and will be loved and missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents. Jesus is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Chavez Romero; his children, Jesus Romero Jr., Jose Raul Romero, Luis Abel Romero; his grandson, Aiden Joshua Romero; his sisters, Guadalupe Romero and Ostolia Cortes; his brothers, Jose Romero, Ismael Romero and Artemio Romero. Also survived by other relatives and many friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Tuesday May 15, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held on Wednesday May 16, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church1124 Beech St. Baytown, Texas 77520.
