Joe Kendall James

Joe “Kendall” James, age 48, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. He was born in Houston, Texas on April 16, 1969, to Ruth Ann Kluth James and Harold Kenneth James. He enjoyed traveling (especially to Hawaii), singing karaoke, and was an avid sports fan. He was very dedicated to serving the Lord, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his niece and nephew. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth James, his brother, Tony James and grandparents.

Kendall is survived by his mother, Ruth Ann Patterson; his sister, Keena Tarrant; his nephew, Cory Rodriguez and his niece, Kyra Rodriguez. He is also survived by his aunts, many cousins and other loving family and numerous friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Sunday evening January 14, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held on Monday afternoon January 15, 2018, at Christian Tabernacle 13334 Wallisville Rd.
