Johanna Emma Busch Reese

Johanna Emma Busch Reese, 87, of Crosby, Texas, passed away on July 2, 2018. She was born on January 9, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas to Willy Curt Busch and Emma Sturzenegger Busch. Johanna loved her family and would host gatherings at her house for them. She enjoyed painting, crafting, and gardening. She took great pride of her garden, especially her flowerbeds. Johanna will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Roy Reese, Jr; parents, Willy and Emma Busch; brothers, John Busch and Oscar Busch; and sisters, Evelyn Busch Long and Doris Busch Sodolak.

Johanna is survived by her sons, Edward Reese and wife Belinda, and Donald Reese and wife Elaine; brother, Willy Busch and wife Carolyn; sister, Margaret Busch Wenzel and husband Floyd; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 9, 2018 also at Sterling White Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sterling White Cemetery.
