Joseph Clarence Duhon

Joseph Clarence Duhon, 53, was born to Clarence and Willie Mae Duhon on January, 16, 1966.

Joseph was a lifelong resident of Barrett Station and a parishioner of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church. 

Duhon, as he was known to many, attended Crosby High School where he played football and graduated in the class of 1985.  His passions included volunteering as an assistant coach for The Barrett Station Dragons little league football team and deer hunting with his closest friend John Currette (Dirt).  Joseph was well known and loved by those that knew him. 

He is survived by his aunt Doris Doucet (Vernon) of McNair, TX, uncle CJ Duhon (Judy) of Lafayette, LA, aunt Agnes Broussard (Edward)  of Westlake, LA, uncle Alfa Sinegal (Verna) of Maurice, LA, aunt Lorena Broussard of Westlake, LA, aunt Yola Dugas of Maurice, LA, and very close cousins Horace Duffy and Eva VanWright, and a host of other cousins and friends. 

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:00am until 10:00am on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, in The Chapel at Sterling~White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Road  Highlands, Texas 77562. A Funeral Service for Mr. Duhon will begin at 10:00am with Revernd Anthony Mbanefo, MSP. of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church with a burial immediately following in Sterling~White Cemetery.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Willie Mae Duhon, maternal grandparents Bertha and Norris Sinegal and paternal grandparents Lucille and Lawrence Duhon.

Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be John (Dirt) Curette, Carlos Benitez, Curtis Windfont, Kevin Doucet Jr., Elyard David, and Edward Baker.
