Melanie Ann Camp

Melanie Ann Camp – age 28, passed away January 20, 2020. She was born in El Paso, Texas on September 20, 1991 the daughter of Philip J. Camp and Cheryl A. Dockery Camp. Melanie loved music, especially Texas country. She was a fan of the Texas Rangers and was always willing to talk sports with her Dad. Melanie enjoyed singing, and will be remembered for her good soul, and genuine love for people. She was a giver and was always willing to help others. Melanie worked for the past eight years at Chile’s Restaurant as the Front-End Manager. She had attended Stephen F. Austin and Lone Star College and was two classes short of fulfilling her dream to becoming a sign language interpreter.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory a daughter Taylor E. Camp, parents Philip and Cheryl Camp, sister Leslie Anne Camp, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family and friends. Funeral Services will be held 2PM Friday, January 24, 2020 at Sterling White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, Texas. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
