Rhonda Gayle Dumas Johnson

Rhonda Gayle Dumas Johnson age 65, went to be with the Lord on Thursday November 29, 2018. She was born in Beaumont, Texas to Rosemary Chatmon Dumas and Harold Dumas. She enjoyed traveling and watching her game shows but most of all, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a very kind, caring, generous, hard working person who retired from Shell after 30 years of dedicated service. She would do anything for her family and will be loved and missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Sandra Dumas, Priscilla Norman and Harriet Kaye Dumas and her niece, Shalanderia Arceneaux. Rhonda is survived by her children, Christopher Johnson (and wife, Danielle) and Joseph Johnson (and wife, Cynthia) and her grandchildren Katelynn Johnson, Joseph Johnson Jr., Dyani Khan and Davyn Johnson; her sisters, Rosalind Dumas Brady, Theresa Dumas, Rosemarie Dumas Tennison and Mamie Dumas Carroll; her brothers, Darryl and Harold Dumas; her brothers-in-law, Harold Walker and Dewayne Tennison and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn and Charmaine Dumas. Also survived by eight nieces, nine nephews, other relatives and many friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church 12606 Crosby Lynchburg Rd. Crosby, Texas on Monday December 10, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Sterling White Cemetery.
