Rochelle Marie Salazar

Rochelle Marie Salazar, 34, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. She was born on October 20, 1984 in Baytown, Texas to Abel Salazar and Haley Jean Ferguson Salazar.  Camping, Tubing the river, visiting the beach and couponing were among some of her favorite activities. She was a wonderful mother to her daughter Isabella. She enjoyed dressing Isabella up for Halloween, her favorite holiday.  She had a special bond with her nieces and nephew. Rochelle loved visiting with friends and family.

She is preceded in death by mother Haley Jean Ferguson Salazar, paternal grandfather Celso C. Salazar, maternal grandfather Bobby Ferguson and maternal grandmother Penelope Ferguson.

Rochelle is survived by her daughter Isabella Salazar, father Abel Salazar of La Porte, sister Melissa Renee Salazar of Pasadena, and a paternal grandmother Ophelia Salazar.  She is also survived by her numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew and extended family.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at St. Jude Thaddeus at 10:00am Wednesday, August 14, 2019.  Interment to follow in Sterling-White Cemetery.
