Ronald Javier Barrera

Ronald Javier Barrera, 27, of Crosby, Texas passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020, in Baytown, Texas. He was born on August 20, 1992 to the late Angela Ortiz, in Austin, Texas. He attended North Shore High School and Crosby High School.

Ronald loved his career, where he worked as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. He was the type of person who always had a smile on his face. If you asked his family, they would tell you that he was a naturally happy person. Ronald pursued many interests, some of which were spending time with his family, model trucks, driving his backhoe and bulldozer. He was also an avid gun collector. He was a proud father to his daughter Julissa. She was the absolute joy in his life.

Ronald was a loving husband, father, brother and friend to many who knew him. He was preceded him in death by his beloved mother who he has now joined in Heaven. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory, his beloved wife Bibiana Mayorga of Crosby, Texas; his daughter Julissa Mayorga of Crosby, Texas: his siblings Carlos Barrera of Honduras, Cesar Castro of Crosby, Texas, Dolores Mendoza of Houston and a host of other loving relatives and friends.     

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, in the chapel of Sterling White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, Texas, 77562. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 pm.
