Ryan Scott Rangel

Ryan Scott Rangel, 31, of Crosby, Texas, passed away on April 15, 2019. He was born on June 10, 1987 in Houston, Texas to Reymundo Reynaldo Rangel, Jr. and Marisa Ann Carrington. He married the love of his life, Megan Solomon Rangel 10 years ago and together they had a daughter, Emma Faith Rangel. He took pride in being a wonderful father to his daughter. Ryan was a fan of the Houston Astros. Cooking and grilling for his family and friends was a specialty of his. He loved to shoot guns, collect a variety of knives, and tinker around with this truck. Ryan was a gentle giant with a kind heart that will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Reymundo Rangel, Sr., Eva Rangel, Patricia Taylor, and Dick Carrington.

Ryan is survived by his wife, Megan Rangel; daughter, Emma Rangel; parents, Reymundo Rangel, Jr. and wife April, and Marisa Flanagan and husband Joe; brother, Chance Flanagan; sisters, Lauren Rangel, Kellie Walker and husband Ethan, and Hannah Flanagan; and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00am – 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Sterling White Funeral Home. A Celebration of Ryan’s Life will follow at 1:00pm. Immediately following the services please join the family at the Oasis Room of Crosby Church, 5725 Hwy 90, Crosby, Texas for food and refreshments to celebrate Ryan’s life and share memories. Anyone who would like to contribute can bring drinks or dessert.
