Susanna Marie Conner

Susanna Marie "Sue" Conner, 74, of Highlands, passed away at her home on Saturday, October 10, 2020.

Sue was born on August 2, 1946, in Bell Island, NewFoundland, Canada, to the late Michael Moore and Ellen Kent. She was a former resident of Galena Park and has resided in Highlands for the past 17 years.  She was employed as an administrative assistant in insurance.  Sue also enjoyed making jewelry, ceramics and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by her parents:  Michael and Ellen Moore and John and Bride Kent; brothers:  Ed Moore, Colin Kent, Kevin Kent, and Blair Kent; grandchildren:  Meaghann Lynn Muskiet, Cayden Mitchell Johnson, and Zachary Taylor Muskiet.  She is survived by her husband:  Clarence "Chuck" Conner; children: Sharon Conner-Muskiet (Peter), Melissa Bush (Paul), Michelle Johnson (Reuben), and Steven Conner (Amy); siblings:  John Moore (Carmel), Carmel Moriarity (Tom), Mike Moore (Sharon), Mary Shay, Ellen Stoyles (Bill), Margaret Fitzgerald, Johnny Kent (Rose), Barb Whalen, Keith and Kent (Christine), Gary Kent (Geraldine), and Beverly Kent, Carolyn Kent, Clare Kent, Marg Moore; grandchildren Tyler Reyes, Hunter Muskiet, Coby Johnson, Chase Johnson, Rebecca Bush, Brittany Bush, Aidan Conner, Owen Conner, Kim Johnson, Melissa Ojeda, Dana Taylor and Tidarian Birklett; great-grandchild:  Avery Johnson and numerous relatives and friends.

Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Tyler Reyes, Hunter Muskiet, Coby Johnson, Chase Johnson, Rebecca Bush, Brittany Bush, Aidan Conner, Owen Conner, Kim Johnson, Melissa Ojeda, Dana Taylor and Tidarian Birklett.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, October 16, 2020, in the Chapel of Sterling~White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Road, Highlands, Texas 77562. A Funeral Service for Susanna Marie Conner will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 17, 2020, at First Baptist Church of Highlands, 210 N Magnolia St, Highlands, TX 77562.
