Thurston Clifford Rhoads III

Thurston Clifford Rhoads III, 69, of League City, Texas passed away on Monday September 20, 2021 in Webster, Texas. He was born October 15, 1951 in Navasota, Texas to parents Thurston Clifford Roads Jr. and Jeanie Marie Ellis.

Thurston graduated high school from Galena Park and attended College at Baylor, after graduation Thurston worked as a lab Technician for ExxonMobil. He was a friendly person and very talkative, he always had tons of stories to tell. He loved being outdoors hunting, gardening, fishing, coaching soccer and baseball, Thurston was a selfless man, and dedicated his time to others. He was a volunteer little league baseball coach, scout master leader, and volunteer Boy Scout leader for troop 1444 in Baytown. He also volunteered for Red Cross, and CPR classes and worked fundraisers to earn funds for heart transplants. Thurston was a member of First Baptist Church where he also did volunteer work. Thurston was an amazing individual and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Thurston is preceded in death by his father Thurston Clifford Roads Jr; daughter Whitney Lynn Roads; Brother Ronald Wayne and brother in law Mike Blackman.

 Thurston leaves behind to cherish his memories Wife Jayce Carol Stratton; son Thurston Rhoads IV and wife his Wife Patricia; daughter Heather Rhoads; Grandkids Holden Rhoads, Kaylee Jackson, Nolan Rhoads, Liam Rhoads; Great grandchildren Cole Jackson Cora Jackson; sisters Sherry Blackman, Linda Hauck and husband Ronny; Brother Brian Rhoads and numerous other relatives and friends.

Friend are invited to visit with the family at Sterling ~ White funeral home chapel  Saturday, September 25, 2021   from 12pm-2 pm. Services will follow at 2pm.
