Virginia June Weaver-Jennings-Moore

Virginia June Weaver Jennings Moore, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the age of 88. She was born on February 2, 1931 to Eugene and Arnie Holston in Charleston, West Virginia. She never met a stranger and she loved talking to people in person and on the telephone. Virginia was a hugger, she loved working as a greeter and hugging people who walked through the door. She enjoyed crafts, doing embroidery work, and singing for her choir at the May Community Center. She also loved to dance, she had everyone into dancing at her nursing home; everyone said she knew how to shake her booty. Virginia loved to have fun, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Arnie Holston, her former husbands Robert “Bob” Lee Weaver, Walter Jennings and Earl Moore, her sons Christopher Weaver and Robert “Bobby” Weaver.

Virginia is survived by daughter Pamela Rives and husband Danny; son Michael Weaver and wife Joy; and her special friends Karen Holliday and Sam Thiede. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous extended family and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Shane Weaver, Shannon Weaver, Sam Thiede, Rich Harcrow, David West and James Holliday.

A visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 am.
