Vonnie Faye Rowinsky Shumate

Vonnie Faye Rowinsky Shumate, 84, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 16, 2018. She was born on March 22, 1934 in Frio County to Orion Rowinsky and Louise Saunders Rowinsky. She worked as an account office manager for many years. Vonnie enjoyed travelling, and spending time with her family. She had a big and caring heart. Vonnie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Orion and Louise Rowinsky; son, Clinton Tinsley; sisters, Vera Valior and Louise Rankin; and brothers, Orion Rowinsky, Dow Rowinsky, Don Rowinsky, Frank Rowinsky, and Fred Rowinsky.

Vonnie is survived by her granddaughter, Jessica McCloud and husband Josh; great-granddaughter, Alexis McCloud; sister, Sue Rankin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Sterling White Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm.
