I met Carla and Bill at my cupcake shop in Crosby. We instantly became friends as we learned we shared so many common interests. She loved antiques and I shared many with her after my Dad passed away. I saw her recently and I always enjoyed our conversations. I felt like I had known her all of my life and I am truly heartbroken and shocked. I will miss her very much and will never go to the Nutcracker market without looking for the Wooden Santa's for her.

Carla was a dear, dear friend of mine. She and I served on several committees at AUMC and always had such a good time while serving. She was a such a creative lady and a hard worker. She always jumped in to do whatever was needed and always with a smile on her face. She was one of the most giving people that I have ever met. She truly had a servant heart. Her faith has grown so muich in the two years that I have known her; she truly lived her faith as a child of God. I will miss her friendship so much.

It saddened our hearts to hear of Carla passing. She was loved by many, and will be missed. May she be in the arms of God, Bill and other family members.
May loving memories bring strength, comfort and peace to all. With love, James & Pamela

I am so sad to hear of Carla's passing. Carla and I worked together on several projects together with me being a vendor for Tri-Con.
She was so passionate and OCD about her work and had the best time management skills I have ever seen to this day. She was also stubborn as a mule and when she needed a part by Wednesday, it had better arrive by Wednesday and if not, I knew to expect a Call.
Carla grew on me and I learned a lot from her. As time went on, we spent countless hours working out the kinks with our pricing and ordering process. Soon after that we became friends and the countless butt chewings started to decline . We enjoyed each other's company and would often go to lunch when I came to town. She would always make me laugh when she would share funny stories about her late husband and her hatred of snakes.
I will miss her very much. And although she is in a better place, I would give anything to of had the opportunity to say goodbye.

Bill and Carla were very dear friends who will be missed more than words can express. We celebrate with joy that they have been reunited and have gone to a place far better than this one, but those of us left behind will never forget them and will always love them. Our deepest condolences to the family. Please know they were both loved.

We were blessed to know Carla as our close friend and neighbor. She was a bright and shining star in our lives. We will miss her smile and sweet spirit, as well as the many hours spent talking in her beautiful yard. Even though we will miss her presence in our lives, we find comfort in knowing that she is united with her Heavenly Father and her beloved husband, Bill. She will remain forever in our hearts. Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss. May you find peace and comfort in all the good memories.

Carla was an angel on earth. Her creativity was amazing! And it was such fun to volunteer with her for any ministry. We had many good conversations. God blessed us with having Carla as a friend.
