Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the lost of your loved one. I can't image the sadness you must be feeling from your loss of Darlene. At Job 14:14, Job asked, "If a man dies, shall he live again"? At Isa. 26:19, we find the answer. "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". May you and your family find comfort in these words in the days to come.

Love and prayers to all who knew and loved Darlene. She is frozen in my mind as a young school girl, for that's when I first knew her, and that picture in my mind is of a kind, always smiling, girl. May you all find comfort in your good memories of her.

My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family during this time of sorrow. Heaven has received a new angel. Your family has its very own personal heavenly angel watching over it now. Darlene has been given a new body free from sickness and pain. She is whole and happy - watching over all of you until you can be with her again.
I know nothing can ease the loss your family feels. Pain and tears will come unexpectedly, and go with much effort to regain your composure. Nothing but time will help with this. The pain and sadness when you think of Darlene will never go away. It will be with you always. Time does not heal all wounds as the saying goes. Some wounds are just too deep and too close to your heart. But, hopefully with time, you will get a handle on your pain and it won't be as sharp and raw - all the time.
I have learned the hard way that time and the world stops for nothing, and for no one. It doesn't care what we are going through, the world keeps turning and time keeps ticking away. Even though you may wish you could freeze time until you are ready to greet a new day, I know she wouldn't want yall to stop living. She would want you all to be happy, laugh, love, and most of all, LIVE. She would want you all to share her love with the world since she no longer can. Because time keeps ticking, it continuously gets closer to the day you will see her again.
I love all of you Sampson's like part of my own family. You all will remain in my prayers.

Words can't express how sorry I am about your loss .. our loss! Darlene was more than a friend, she was my first friend when I came to Houston and she received me with open arms! I will never forget her! Time spent with her was always fun and always a good time!

Diane and I extend to the entire Sampson family our deepest sympathy at Darlene's passing. She was a friend to both of us immediately as we joined together at work. She shared not only her expertise in work, but she shared her genuine gifts of mercy and care. We came to love the Darlene who was loved deeply by all of you. She loved each of you. We will miss her here on earth but we know that one day there will be a reunion of family and good friends and Darlene will be there to greet us all (maybe with a Sonic Diet coke!) Although we can't be with you Saturday, know that hearts and prayers here in West Texas will be directed your way.
