Darlene D Sampson

Darlene Dannette Sampson, 48, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 in Houston, Texas. She was born on July 12, 1968 in Longview, Texas to James Edward Sampson and Linda Sue Owens Sampson. She was a friend to everybody and was always helpful to others. Darlene loved getting her nails done, getting a coke from Sonic with extra ice, watching baseball and football, and especially spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Darlene is survived by her parents, Eddie and Linda Sampson; sons, Bryan Mejia, Brandon Mejia, and Blake Wilson; daughter-in-law, Kyle Mejia; sister, Brandie Sampson; brother-in-law, Raymond Newton; brother, Chris Sampson; sister-in-law, Heather Sampson; niece, Breanna Lumus; nephews, Spencer Lumus, Jagger Newton, C.J. Sampson, Colt Sampson, Clete Sampson; and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in Sterling White Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd.
